The blooming Cacti!

Narrative Writing

THE LOST,LONELY DUCK.

By Leyton

One hot morning I was flying, I got lost in the middle of nowhere my mate went this way and I went that way. I got so exhausted that I had to stop then I lowered my wings. I waited and waited but she didn't come back I said to myself ''I can't waist my time standing here.''

I soon came to something called a playground it seemed a bit scary for a little duck like me so kept on moving. I couldn't stop thinking of her.

I was thinking that I should go in the classrooms, but people will keep staring at me. WOOOOOOOOSH! The water poured on me I felt so sad that time that I did so many things bad. Suddenly I was sleeping in my nest and I saw my wife knitting, that was amasing it was like it was a dream and it was! I was crying so hard that my tears were almost as big as the rain, but this time it was for real. I saw her and already she had a baby and we lived for a long time.

Disappearing Dreadful Duck.

By Maraea

One adventurous day I decided to take a walk with my wonderful mate. We are going to have a lot of fun I said. Watch out, she tripped over the pile of thick twigs near a surrounded hall it smelt disgusting.

Click! Clack! Waddle! Whack! My feet announced me as I was limping to a big bunch of palm trees that were blocking my view. I was beneath the bright stars as I turned around and my mate was gone.I'm going to retrace my steps!

My adventure was over but I couldn't give up. Come on I can do it! So I pranced around to find her. My mate would be fine till I saw her in some thick twigs. I need her back and I had never left sight of her but she went home. That was my mind playing tricks on me.
